The transition to High Definition (HD) video acquisition,
programming and broadcasting affects what type of content we watch as well as how
we record and edit it in our homes or offices. As television screens get wider,
and the number of available pixels per inch multiplies, the demand for HD
programming is at a steady increase. Not to be outdated or outdone, Texas Media Systems is
proud to present the JVC and APPLE solution at the Solid Solutions Camera and Edit Show! The new
JVC GY-HM100 and GY-HM700 are the only cameras on the market that can shoot 25
minutes of 35mb/sec footage to readily available ten dollar consumer SDHC cards.
Additionally, JVC has teamed up with APPLE to natively edit this footage. A
Solid collaboration indeed!
The cameras, a Final Cut Pro work station and examples of footage will be showcased on Wednesday, June 24th from 1 to 5 pm at Texas Media Systems (4311 Medical Parkway, Austin, TX. 78756). Registrants to this event can meet with manufacturer’s representatives will be on-hand to answer technical questions about equipment capabilities. “Falling in love with JVC all over again has been easy” says Philip Goetz, an employee of Texas Media Systems, “sure the show is free, there’s food and drink and as we as freebies and a prize giveaway.”
