Canon has just announced a new firmware update, Version 1.0.3.1, for the Canon EOS C400 Full Frame RF Cinema Camera, and Canon EOS C80 Full Frame Cinema Camera cinema cameras.

This update comes with a few minor improvements to the overall functionality of the cameras. They've added improved security features, and password protections. After you install this update you will be able to update the camera just by connecting it to the internet. They added transmission support for the Broadcast, and Muiltcast CV Protocls. You will now be able to playback RAW clips with Lens corrections enabled. They added a toggoe on/off for the [Pause Digital IS]. So, you no longer have to hold the button down to keep it paused.
The biggest addition is the extra information added to Display level 2. Display Level 2 now shows:
- Recording Format
- Main Resolution
- Sensor Mode
- Digital Image Stabilization
- Gamma/Color Space
- Level (Numeric)
