Compact V-Mount battery plate for the Canon C400, C500 Mark II or C300 Mark II cameras.

Design

The VMP400 attaches directly to the rear of the camera using two captive M4 screws and powers the camera via low profile XLR connector. The compact design enables the simultaneous use of V-Mount batteries and Canon A60 style batteries, permitting hot-swapping.

Auxiliary Power

Features two auxiliary outputs for powering onboard accessories, 5A each/8A max. Both aux outputs can be unscrewed and rotated 180º for optimum cable routing.

Fitted with two DTAP connectors as standard or optionally upgrade to 2-pin LEMO. Pin 1 is ground, Arri/SmallHD/Teradek standard.

Backwards Compatible

Also works with the C300 Mark III and C500 Mark II cameras. Requires the Minifab 400S-VOP Vertical Offset Plate for hot-swapping with Canon batteries.

Convertible

Quickly and easily turn your VMP400 into a GMP400 with a conversion kit.

Customisable

Engrave your battery plate with your own logo, and/or opt for custom anodizing.

A: Yes, the Minifab V-Mount Battery Plate, VMP400, will work with the Canon C500 Mark II cameras, but will partially cover the C500 Mark II battery opening preventing hotswapping of batteries.

The Minifab Vertical Offset Plate 400S-VOP combined with the VMP400 is designed to enable hotswapping.
